On top of my mind is Jenny Colgan. I don’t really recall her titles but somehow, the name sticks on with me. I remember I can’t really be satisfied with just one book that I had finished.
Oh, I was thinking about another book and another totally different author altogether. Huhu..it happens. I wonder what’s her name. It was the one that has cakes, and all things sweets and bakery themes. Erm..Little Cupcakes? And the follow up, Christmas at the Cupcake House, er..something like that, huh? A quick visit to my ipad library would solve this but right now, I am at reading room…sans my ipad. And it’s evening, nonetheless, I was about to go for a jog round the lake for heaven’s sake, so I forgive myself. Thank you!
I like Jenny Colgan too. I think she wrote about re opening a sweet shop by the heroine’s granny, moving far from where she was living before starting a new life, then..tada ..meeting the love of her live. The funnier one was about the rich and classes, how this one girl managed to snag a trump card and a trophy husband at the end.
I know, both authors are more known in the chick lit niches. So sue me. Haha..
I of course, was also with the popular crowds when I got on the bandwagon for George RR Martin. Not just for the GOTs, but for ..OMG, I mistaken his other works ..it is from another author. The other author I mistakenly thought the other genre GRRM wrote is of course the author of Ender’s Game, Orson Scott Card, whose works or if not THE work, got even read in military or navy classes for its renown strategy and bravery anecdotes. Mr Card goes on to write sequeals and prequels to the infamous made into movie book, and I found myself immersed also with the story of Bean. Because, after Ender’s Story ends, he left earth, so we mostly follows through what happens to his comrades. I can’t really say, I enjoy, as much as I didn’t finish reading the Xeno ..xeno something ..about Ender in space and the missions or the wars of the other planetary being. It is no Star Wars. My love, apprehendedly begins and ended quite succinctly with Ender and Beans, full stop.If I may add, something that got to do with Eaaaaarth ( remember Wall-E? Or Lilo & Stitch’s pronounciations?).
So, let’s see. The name is rushing to me now. So, let me list em all down.
